Devotional - when you don't feel like working

I'm sure that you experience the same struggles as me sometimes.
This one for example:
You're waking up on Monday morning, after an amazing weekend, and there's zero motivation in your body.
You start questioning why you even started your own business...
What you are doing it for...
If your business is really filling up your energy tank...

And sometimes you don't know, you don't have the answer. And thus, no motivation to start your week.

But! (There's always a but.)
It isn't about you.
It isn't about me. Oh, I have to remind myself about that EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." -- 1 Corinthians 10:31

Every time when I look at it from that perspective, suddenly my body fills with gratitude and, yes, also motivation.
I'm not working for self-gratification.
I'm not working for money, to get rich.
I'm not working for a bigger house.
I'm not working for more clothes.
I'm not in the first place working to serve others.
No.
I work so I can glorify God. With my gifts and talents. I work for God. And I want to.

I'm so grateful and happy that He asks me to do everything for His glory. There isn't anything more satisfying and peace-giving and reassuring than that!

I bless you with lots of motivation,
Jane
