READ TIME: 2 minutes

Dear readers,

There were some great responses on my email about prayer.

I collected all the good nuggets and bundled them down below.
I pray it will bless you as much as it did me!

How to pray without getting distracted

“I realized that prayer/devotion/meditation doesn't have to happen all at once in a big chunk of time, it can happen throughout the day as we do other things.”
--

"Praying while driving has actually helped to cry out loud to the Lord.”
--

“I started a daily reminder during the day-time to pray. This is a new experience I started yesterday and I couldn’t believe how refreshing and joyful I felt for the rest of the day. I have learned that prayer is not something we should do in the morning or evening. I believe setting a timer during the day as many times as we want or as the Lord leads us is very helpful.”
--

“I think God is just fine with sentence prayers and a spirit of listening to him even when we’re doing other things. He makes communicating with him more valuable than anything else we do. Our world makes it hard.”
--

“Sometimes, when I don't know what to say, I just sit in silence, or pray in tongues, or when I'm going through difficult times, I just let the tears stream down my face. Our heavenly Father knows what's in our heart and He knows when we're struggling.”
--

“I love all the different ways the Lord responds to prayer - through His Word, through Bible studies and devotions, through songs, through books, through videos and podcasts, through other people, through circumstances, in dreams... Not so much fun when He's disciplining us though!”
--

“I treat praying as if God is sitting as a person next to me and He is my very close friend that I can just share everything with Him.”
--

“I started praying for other people in need, before I placed my own needs to God. After a couple of days I follow up on the those people. Remarkably, things took a turn in each of those persons' lives. It is a proven testimony of God’s active work in our prayers.”

Anything that stood out to you? I’d love to know.
