Devotional - have faith

"He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (NIV)
Mark 5:34

Hi,

Jesus healed the woman who had been bleeding for over 12 years. It was her faith that made her believe Jesus was the One who could heal her. Not her "weighing of the odds".

Sometimes I notice that not my faith but rational reasoning takes over in my line of thinking. As if my brain says, "yes, God can do it but here are some other options when things go a different way..."

But, no! That's not faith. That's an attempt to be in control. And I shouldn't be.
Instead, I want to feel and say:

believe.
I have faith in God.
I believe in His Word.
I believe in His provision.
In His salvation.
In His plan.
In His ability to perform miracles in my life.

The woman expected to be healed. And thus I expect -- because of faith -- that God will be visibly present in my life.

And in yours!

What do you believe?! State it.

With love,
Jane
